Founded by Christopher Ballard and Layton Dyer, Layis Landscaping combines an understanding of landscape design with our many years of experience with garden construction, we have the skills to work with any garden space, using our vast knowledge of the materials, techniques, and the understanding of the topography of the surrounding area, to transform your garden into the other room your home never had – the one with nature, fresh air, and beautiful spaces.

Chris Ballard
Chris Ballard has over 30 years of experience in construction and is a proud graduate of the prestigious London School of Garden Design. Having a love of gardens from an early age thanks to his inspirational mum, Chris decided to combine his first loves of art, design, gardens, and construction. His expertise in landscape architecture and construction allows him to bring innovative and practical solutions to each project. Chris’s commitment to quality and sustainable practices ensures that every landscape is built to last and harmonise with its environment.
Layton Dyer
With a background in image retouching and printing, Layton Dyer brings a unique artistic perspective to landscaping. His experience in enhancing visual aesthetics ensures that every project is not only functional but also visually stunning. Layton’s attention to detail and creative approach help him craft landscapes that blend beauty and practicality.
